 DSS Invites Journalist Reuben Buhari For Questioning


The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly invited veteran journalist Reuben Buhari for questioning.


Buhari confirmed the invitation in a Facebook post, stating that he received a call from a DSS officer requesting him to come in for what was described as a "chat."


The invitation reportedly followed a report he published concerning security issues in parts of Kaduna State.


Following reports of the invitation, human rights lawyer and activist Professor Chidi Odinkalu criticised the development, questioning why the journalist was invited over his report. He described Buhari as a respected journalist and expressed support for him.
