Kaduna businessman drags ex fiancee’s father to court, demands dowry refund A businessman, Nasiru Dayyabu, on Wednesday, dragged the father of his ex-fiance, Mallam Sani Direba, to Shari’a Court II sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna over N260,000 dowry. The complainant had joined Direba in the suit against two brothers demanding a refund of N250, 000 dowry and N10,000 introduction money he paid to marry his daughter. Represented by his counsel, Mr Sani Sunusi, the complainant told the court that he sent his people from Karaye, Kano State to Kaduna in 2025, to seek for the defendant’s daughter’s hand in marriage. “We paid the dowry and the introduction money (kudin gausuwa) and were waiting for them to set a date for the wedding,” he said. “Unfortunately, the lady’s father called to inform us that they have cancelled the marriage.” The counsel said the complainant had asked for the refund of his money since Sept. 2025 but all the efforts he made proved abortive. JUSTIN BIEBER'S WIFE 'HAILEY ' SUFFERED A STROKE-LIKE SYMPTOM AND WAS HOSPITALIZED.(PHOTOS).

Hailey Bieber revealing she was hospitalized earlier this week after suffering "a very small blood clot" to her brain. The good news is, she's now home recovering.

The 25-year-old model took to her Instagram Story on Saturday and said the scary episode unfolded Thursday morning while sitting at breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber 

"I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital," she said in her post. "They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours."

She thanked everyone for their concern and those who sent well wishes.  

"Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I've ever been through, I'm home now and doing well, and I'm so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!" she added.

News of Hailey's hospitalization comes weeks after Justin was forced to postpone his Justice World Tour last month after he was diagnosed with COVID-19.
