 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Guinness World Record Holder, Jaan Roose, Takes Daring Rope Walk Across Lagos Bridge.

Estonian slackliner, Jaan Roose gains widespread attention in Nigeria after walking on a rope across a bridge in Lagos without safety equipment.

Known for holding multiple Guinness World Records and being a three-time world champion, Roose is set to perform a stunt in collaboration with the popular energy drink company, Red Bull.

A video making the rounds on social media captured a selfie while on the rope at various heights without any assistance.

The Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor of Lagos State, Jubril Gawat shared a video of his trials on the X platform.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
