  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. Scores Killed As Gunmen Attack Anambra Nightclub 

Unknown gunmen reportedly attacked a nightclub in Oba, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, k!lling several persons. 
 
It was gathered that the incident happened at Porsche Nightclub on Sunday night, December 10, 2023. 
 
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report, however it was gathered that the assailants allegedly came to kidnap the owner of the club but were resisted by security men on duty. 
 
The gunmen were said to have started shooting sporadically, k!lling some people in the process.
 
The assailants also b£h^eaded one of the security men.
