 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. physical capabilities at the service of the state and contribute positively to the development of Nigeria.


All Nigerian children are protected from the following prohibited activities by the laws:

It is very clear that he following activities have been prohibited by the laws. Children must know their rights and responsibilities


1. No minor can lawfully marry-forced marriage is an offence.


2. No tribal marks on the face or body of a child.


3. No Kidnapping or abduction of achild


4. No Child labour


5. No Child abuse/violence


6. No use of children as beggars


7. No Use of children for hawking


8. No Child Soldiers or recruitment for militia.


9. No Use of children in criminal activities


10. No use of children in brothels


11. No prostitution


12. No trafficking


13. No Sexual abuse and Exploitation Etc.
