 Military judge suppresses Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s FBI confession in 9/11 case A military judge has excluded a confession that alleged Sept. 11 attacks mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed gave to FBI agents nearly 20 years ago, ruling that the statements were not made voluntarily. The decision is a setback for the U.S. government's long-running effort to prosecute Mohammed, who is accused of helping develop the plot to hijack planes and crash them into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Mohammed remains detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, alongside other defendants awaiting trial. Lt. Col. Michael Schrama, the judge overseeing the case, scheduled a June 2028 trial for Mohammed and three other defendants earlier this week. In an order issued Friday that has not been made public, Schrama barred prosecutors from using statements Mohammed made during four days of FBI questioning at Guantanamo in January 2007.  Deputy Speaker, Kalu preaches peace in Abia APC, calls for lifting of suspension on members


Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has emphasized the importance of peace in Abia State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that faction is old fashioned. 


Kalu who represents Bende Federal Constituency of the state stressed the point at the Party's Caucus/Stakeholders' meeting held in Umuahia, the State capital on Saturday. 


The meeting attracted the presence of the party's governorship candidate in 2023, High Chief Ikechi Emenike; the party's State Chairman, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu; former speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and federal commissioner representing South East in FCT Civil Service Commission, Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike; former Minister of Labour and Productivity; Chief Emeka Wogu and another Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji. 


Other dignitaries at the meeting included the former Minister of State for Science Technology and Innovation and Chairman, Governing Board, Federal Polytechnic, Nakede, Imo State; former member of the House of Representatives and currently, Baord member of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) and the member representing Abia in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC), Chief Eruba Dimgba amongst others.


Kalu who later moved the motion for the lifting of suspension imposed on some members also emphasized the need to reintroduce monthly levies in the party. 


He encouraged the party faithful to make financial commitments to help run the affairs of the party.


Announcing a huge financial donation to the party, the deputy speaker added that APC has achieved a lot. 


He further expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the South East Development Commission (SEDC) bill into law, telling  the meeting that APC government made it possible. 


He revealed that an appeal is still ongoing to the President to release the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kalu.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
