 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  Nollywood Actress, Angela Okorie allegedly evicted from her house  by Landlord for failing to pay two years rent.

Actress Angela Okorie evicted from her Lagos home over more than 2 years unpaid rent. 


Recall that some years ago, Nollywood actress Angela Okorie revealed that she had bought herself a beautiful house in the hearts of Lagos. 


It came as shocking that her landlord ævicted her this morning after over a year of the tenant in question, Angela Okorie avoiding any seeing her landlord anytime it’s time to pay rent. 


Close sources that some rooms in the house looked more of a “drüg den” than a family home. 


Sources close to the landlord revealed, that the landlord had been serving Angela with countless quit notice and reminders of his rent but almost times, the nollywood actress will thre@ten to send people to deal with the landlord if her dare comes close to the property to try and ev!!ct her.  


The property owner eventually was able to do it this morning with the intervention of the authorities 


We are making efforts to reach the actress’ team to find out how she is coping with this new development".
