Criminals or Heroes? Two Mississippi men are behind bars after beating up a man who fatally stomped a puppy.  Many are wondering if police arrested the right criminals. Matthew Bolton and Austin Delano are both being held on a $250,000 bond for aggravated assault.  The arrest came after the two witnessed an event that moved them to violence.  When Austin and Matthew saw a man stomping on a puppy on the 2100 block of Floyd Drive in Biloxi, Mississippi, they decided to hand out a little street justice and attacked the man.  Authorities report that the victim of their attack is facing animal cruelty charges. However... no arrest was made in connection with that charge. The puppy sadly did not survive.

Truck Driver Allegedly Kills Revenue Collector and Flees on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A tragic incident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near New Garage, inbound Lagos, where an articulated truck reportedly killed a revenue collector attempting to collect dues from the driver. The driver of the truck, identified by the vehicle's plate number FST 887 XD, fled the scene after the fatal incident.

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, confirmed the death in a statement released on Sunday. He explained that the revenue collector, while crossing the expressway to collect tolls from the truck driver, was struck by the vehicle and died at the scene from the impact.

LASTMA officers responded promptly to manage the aftermath of the accident. The remains of the deceased were handed over to officers from the Adigboluje Police Division, who are now coordinating with the victim's family to complete necessary formalities.

Bakare-Oki also reported that the truck, which had caused severe traffic congestion, was removed by LASTMA personnel and turned over to the police for further investigation.

He expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and urged transport unions to educate their members on safe procedures for collecting dues, especially in high-risk areas like expressways.
