 Terry Crews’ Wife Rebecca Reveals Parkinson’s Battle 11 Years After Diagnosis: ‘Seeing Improvement’ Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have opened up about a deeply personal health journey that the family has been quietly navigating for more than a decade. During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot. Not long after, her trainer noticed something unusual in the way she walked, particularly that one of her arms was no longer swinging naturally. Then came the moment that truly raised alarm.  Bishop Nwokolo Cautions Christians To Beware Of Fake Gospel Preachers

The Bishop on the Niger, Anglican Communion, Anambra State, Rt Rev Dr Owen Nwokolo, has raised the alarm over what he described as the growing wave of false teachings and counterfeit gospels spreading across churches in Nigeria.  


Delivering a homily on May 21, during a weekly worship at the Calvary Chapel, GRA, Onitsha, the bishop cautioned christians to beware of "doctrines that deviate from the true message of Christ".

      

According to him, many so-called preachers today are promoting what he called the gospel of prosperity without repentance, miracles without discipleship, and culture without Christ. 

       

“These messages", he warned, are contrary to the teachings of Christ. They introduce things that are not part of the true Gospel and lead people into spiritual confusion.”

       

He lamented that a significant number of messages circulating in churches and media today do not align with the Scriptures, noting that instead of promoting repentance, holiness, and obedience to God's word, these messages appeal to worldly desires and comfort.

      

"What we need is a return to the sound teachings of Christ. We must listen to God's callings and follow His directions. Abiding in the Gospel protects us from the traps of false doctrines," Bishop Nwokolo emphasized.

      

He consequently urged christians not to be swayed by every popular message or miracle crusade, but to test every teaching against the Word of God. 

      

“When you are rooted in the true Gospel and not in religious confusion, you will stand firm and not be led astray,” he said.

         

From opinions sampled shortly after the service, many saw the message coming at a time when concerns about the authenticity of christian teachings in Nigeria continue to rise, especially as some preachers are accused of gaining massive followings through prosperity and miracle-centered messages.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
