KADUNA’S YOUNGEST SPECIAL ADVISER, SANAS EZRA, COMMENDS HON. BELLO EL-RUFAI’S LEADERSHIP, CALLS HIM A MODEL FOR YOUNG POLITICIANS. (PHOTO).

Kaduna’s Youngest Special Adviser, Sanas Ezra, Commends Hon. Bello El-Rufai’s Leadership, Calls Him A Model For Young Politicians

The youngest Special Adviser among all 23 Local Government appointees in Kaduna State, Sanas Ezra Hosea, who serves as Special Adviser on New Media to the Chairman of Chikun Local Government Area, has praised Hon. Bello El-Rufai, Member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, describing him as “a shining example of purposeful and youth-driven leadership.”

In an open letter, Sanas expressed admiration for Hon. El-Rufai’s leadership style, legislative performance, and humility, noting that his conduct has inspired a renewed sense of political participation among young Nigerians.

According to him, Hon. El-Rufai’s dedication to service in the Green Chamber has given hope to many young people who previously viewed politics as a space dominated by self-interest.

He further praised the lawmaker for his active involvement in national debates, sponsorship of motions, and execution of impactful constituency projects, describing him as “a leader who understands that leadership is not about occupying a seat, but about what one does with that seat.”

Sanas also recalled a personal encounter during a recent APC mega rally where Hon. El-Rufai’s humility stood out.

Citing Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s popular saying that “no one is too young to govern,” he noted that Bello El-Rufai’s actions have brought that statement to life.

The Chikun LGA media aide also commended the lawmaker’s youth empowerment and scholarship initiatives, describing them as “examples of what effective representation should look like.”

He added that El-Rufai’s efforts have encouraged young people to see politics as a tool for service and development rather than self-enrichment.

Concluding his message, Sanas expressed his desire to meet Hon. El-Rufai in person to learn from his experience and leadership philosophy.

The letter reads:

Dear Hon. Bello El-Rufai,

I write this open letter with a deep sense of admiration, respect, and appreciation for the kind of leadership you have consistently demonstrated. As a young Nigerian, I feel compelled to express my gratitude and share how much your journey in politics has inspired me and many others.

You have given hope to the youth, not just through words, but through action. Your presence and performance in the Green Chamber have reignited the belief that our generation can indeed make a difference in the political space. We have seen what you have achieved in the House of Representatives, and we do not take it for granted. Your contributions, the motions you’ve sponsored, your engagement in national debates, and the constituency projects you’ve initiated, all point to a leader who is truly committed to service. You have proven that leadership is not about occupying a seat but about what one does with that seat.

Your kind of leadership is one that is worthy of emulation. You have redefined what it means to be a young leader in Nigeria. Before now, I had no interest or desire to venture into politics. Like many others, I viewed it as a space filled with negativity and personal interest. However, your transparency, humility, and results-driven approach have shown us a different picture. You have made politics look purposeful, people-oriented, and full of opportunities to create meaningful change.

I must also mention something that left a lasting impression on me. During the recent mega rally where decampees were received into the APC, I personally witnessed your humility. Despite your position, you took time to greet nearly all the dignitaries present. It wasn’t just a formality, it was a sincere and respectful act that spoke volumes about your character. I was deeply motivated by that moment. As your father, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, often says, “No one is too young to govern,” and that if a youth has passion for politics, he should venture into it as quickly as possible. That day, your actions gave life to those words. It reminded me that true leadership starts with humility and respect for others, regardless of status.

Even though we are from different local government areas, I follow your work very closely. I have watched how you interact with your constituents, how you respond to issues affecting young people, and how you advocate for developmental policies. These things matter. They don’t go unnoticed. For me and many others, you are not just a politician, we see you as an elder brother in leadership, someone we can look up to and learn from.

Your empowerment programs, scholarships, and student support initiatives are shining examples of what effective representation should look like. In a time when many young people feel neglected and without direction, your actions speak loudly. You have not only empowered people financially but have also empowered us mentally and morally to believe in ourselves and in the power of public service.

Please, do not relent. We are watching, we are learning, and we are preparing ourselves to follow your path. You are setting a standard that gives us the courage to dream and the motivation to prepare for leadership roles in the future. This is the kind of change we desire to see, young, visionary leaders stepping up, performing excellently, and inspiring the next generation.

One of my greatest wishes is to meet you someday. I would love the opportunity to sit with you, ask progressive questions, and understand more about the journey, how you think, how you lead, and how we too can prepare to do better. The impact you’re making goes beyond Kaduna; it’s reaching across the country. You’re showing us that youth in leadership is not a risk, it is an asset.

Once again, I want to say thank you. Thank you for representing the youth well. Thank you for showing us that politics can be clean, meaningful, and impactful. Sarkin Yaqi, tell our Honourable that he is my elder brother by leadership, not by tribe or location, but by action and inspiration.

May God continue to strengthen you, guide your decisions, and elevate you to higher positions where your impact can be even greater. Keep leading, keep serving, and please know, many of us are behind you, supporting you, and learning from you.

With utmost respect and admiration,

Sanas Ezra Hosea
