NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. On Sunday, 5th October, 2025, at about 5:30 a.m., the operatives inspected the bags and discovered 32 iPhones of different models, alongside 38 other smartphones of various brands such as Samsung, Redmi, Tecno, and Honor. Also recovered were five laptops, several smart wristwatches, AirPods, a Samsung Tab, a Sorapad, and a number of damaged phones suspected to have been stolen from different parts of Ikeja and its environs.

Speaking on the recovery, the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad, CSP Shola Jejeloye, stated that preliminary investigations revealed the items were stolen property hurriedly abandoned by the suspects. He urged members of the public who may have lost similar devices to visit the RRS Headquarters, Alausa, with verifiable proof of ownership for proper identification and reclaim.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Moshood Jimoh, commended the operatives for their vigilance and swift response. He lauded their professionalism and reaffirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment to intelligence-led policing, proactive crime prevention, and the continuous enhancement of public safety across Lagos State.
