 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AN OHIO WOMAN WAS KILLED BY A DEER AFTER BECOMING STUCK INSIDE OF ITS PEN. (PHOTO).

 An Ohio woman was killed by a deer after becoming stuck inside of its pen. 


Belmont County Sheriff's Department was called to a home around 10:27 p.m. on November 15th to the report of an animal attack. 


Once on scene, they discovered a severely wounded female inside of a pen with an aggressive white tail buck. Deputies were forced to shoot the deer in order to enable first responders access to the victim. However, it was too late by this point. Sadly, Jodi Proger was pronounced deceased on scene.


According to family members, Jodi had become trapped inside of the enclosure when the deer became aggressive and began attacking her. Family members desperately attempted to reach her and kill the deer but were unsuccessful until law enforcement arrived. 


Belmont County Sheriff James Zusack says no foul play is suspected.  He says the case has been turned over to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Ohio Department of Agriculture to investigate.
