 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. AN OHIO WOMAN WAS KILLED BY A DEER AFTER BECOMING STUCK INSIDE OF ITS PEN. (PHOTO).

 An Ohio woman was killed by a deer after becoming stuck inside of its pen. 


Belmont County Sheriff's Department was called to a home around 10:27 p.m. on November 15th to the report of an animal attack. 


Once on scene, they discovered a severely wounded female inside of a pen with an aggressive white tail buck. Deputies were forced to shoot the deer in order to enable first responders access to the victim. However, it was too late by this point. Sadly, Jodi Proger was pronounced deceased on scene.


According to family members, Jodi had become trapped inside of the enclosure when the deer became aggressive and began attacking her. Family members desperately attempted to reach her and kill the deer but were unsuccessful until law enforcement arrived. 


Belmont County Sheriff James Zusack says no foul play is suspected.  He says the case has been turned over to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Ohio Department of Agriculture to investigate.
