 Pixar announces new Finding Nemo short film, Loving Dory  Pixar is returning to the “Finding Nemo” universe with a new short film titled “Loving Dory,” continuing the franchise after its two films grossed roughly $2 billion worldwide. The short was announced at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where Pixar also revealed plot details and screened early footage. Produced by Mary Alice Drumm and directed by Lou Hamou-Lhadj, the story follows Dory as she takes Nemo to school. On her way back, she becomes trapped in a sea anemone and is rescued by what she believes is a jellyfish, which is actually a plastic bag containing a discarded sunscreen tube. Dory then forms an unexpected friendship with the object, with the footage showing a series of whimsical, emotional moments between the pair. INTELLIGENCE-LED OPERATION LEADS TO ARREST OF TWO SUSPECTS, RECOVERY OF STOLEN TOYOTA HUMMER BUS IN BAUCHI


Operatives of the Bauchi State Police Command have arrested two suspects and recovered a stolen Toyota Hummer bus following a swift response to credible intelligence received by detectives of the Command.


The complainant, Abubakar [Surname Withheld], 60, of Gallaga Area, Bauchi, reported to ‘A’ Division, Township, on 16th May 2026 at about 1920 hours that his Toyota Hummer bus, with registration number 14B95 BA and chassis number TRH20050135544, had been stolen. The vehicle was parked at the Yankari Express Motor Park, Bauchi, while he was attending prayers at the motor park's mosque at about 1840 hours the same day.


Acting on credible intelligence, the Divisional Police Officer led a team of police detectives and arrested two suspects along Gombe Road, Bauchi. The suspects are Anas Yarima, 35, of Shingen Abba, and Abubakar Adam, 53, of Kandahar Area, Bauchi.


During the operation, the stolen Toyota Hummer bus was recovered in their possession. The suspects confessed to the crime and admitted to using a personal key to steal the vehicle.


Investigation into the matter is ongoing, and the suspects will be charged to court upon its conclusion.


This marks the second recovery of stolen motor vehicles by the Command within one week through intelligence-led policing.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+), commended the DPO and his team, as well as members of the public, for providing timely information that aided the swift recovery of the vehicle and the arrest of the suspects. The Command reaffirms its commitment to protecting lives and property and urges citizens to remain vigilant at homes, places of worship, and business premises, and to promptly report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
