Serena Williams' husband addresses critics over White House UFC event Alexis Ohanian, husband of tennis star Serena Williams, faced backlash after attending President Trump’s 80th birthday celebration at the White House, which doubled as a UFC event staged by Dana White’s TKO group. The spectacle drew criticism when fighter Josh Hokit used his post-fight interview to make a vile slur about former First Lady Michelle Obama.  Ohanian, who co-founded Reddit and now owns several sports teams, stayed silent for days before finally condemning the remark on social media, insisting he had already left the event when it was made. In his statement, Ohanian explained that he attended at the invitation of UFC’s parent company and emphasized his past decision to resign from Reddit in protest against hate-filled communities. He also noted he was leaving the venue early due to jet lag from traveling between Europe and the U.S. to support Williams’ tennis comeback.  While he expressed r...

FOUR TEENS THOUGHT THEY HAD FOUND AN EASY TARGET TO ROB UNTIL THE EX-MARINE DISARMED AND RESTRAINED ONE.(PHOTO).

Four teens thought they had found an easy target to rob until the ex-marine disarmed and restrained one.

Jheyco Borda was outside of his Oxon Hill, Maryland, home on June 3rd when 4 teens armed with a gun attempted to rob him. These teens would learn a hard lesson in the following moments.

The entire encounter was captured on surveillance video. In the video, you can see the four individuals approach Jheyco and point the weapon at his head.

The gunman demanded his keys and phone while his three buddies stood by. Jheyco says he told him the car was running and to just take it.

He then held up his phone motioning like he was going to give it to him, and the gunman briefly looked away. That's when Jheyco's military training kicked in, and he sprang into action.

Jheyco grabbed the weapon, and the two began struggling for control. At this point, Jheyco's brother ran to help.

During the struggle, the teen fired off a shot, which struck Jheyco's truck. Jheyco was able to gain control of the gun seconds later and wrestle the suspect to the ground.

With the help of his brother and father Pedro, Jheyco was able to restrain the gunman and one other suspect until Prince George County Deputies arrived on the scene and took them into  custody.

The two other suspects were able to flee the scene but were ultimately identified and arrested.

Jheyco says it was a split-second decision, and he is lucky that it turned out in his favor. He doesn't recommend anyone else putting their life on the line for replaceable possessions.

Jheyco hopes the teens learn a lesson from the altercation and make better decisions in the future.

The moral of this story is four teens and a gun are no equal to a trained ex-marine.
