 Anambra@35: Nonye Soludo Celebrates State’s Resilience, Greatness By MaryAnn Chukwuma Mrs. Nonye Soludo, wife of the Anambra Governor, has congratulated Ndi Anambra on the 35th anniversary of the creation of the state, describing the milestone as a celebration of resilience, greatness and hope. Mrs Soludo, in a goodwill message issued to commemorate the anniversary, reflected on Anambra’s 35 year journey and the contributions of its people to the state’s growth and development. She described Anambra as a land of promise and possibilities, saying the state had continued to be defined by enterprise, courage, resilience, culture and an unwavering belief in what could be achieved. According to her, the strength of Anambra lies in its communities and the ingenuity of its people, whose determination, creativity and resilience have contributed significantly to the state’s progress. QUEEN ELIZABETH,IN A COLOURFUL-TRADITIONAL EVENT OFFICIALLY OPENED THEIR PARLIAMENT+MUSIC AWARD.{PHOTOS}.

                      On May 18,Queen Elizabeth officially opened Parliament with a colourful series of events steeped in tradition.The State Opening of Parliament occurs at the begging of each Parliamentary year and is the only regular event to unite the three elements of legislature,the House of Lords,the House of Commons and The Queen together as the Crown in Parliament.Before either House can proceed to public business,The Queen must officially open Parliament by addressing both Houses in The Queen'd Speech.The Speech is not drafted by The Queen,but by the Government,outlining plans and future legislation.The Queen Presented The Queen's Medal for Music 2015 to Oliver Knussen CBE.The prize,established in 2005,is awarded to an outstanding individual or group of musicians who habe a major influence on the musical life of the nation.One of the most distinquished composer-conductors in the world today,Mr Knussen was awarded the Medal for Music last year and received his medal during an audience at Buckingham Palace yesterday morning.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
