 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. QUEEN ELIZABETH,IN A COLOURFUL-TRADITIONAL EVENT OFFICIALLY OPENED THEIR PARLIAMENT+MUSIC AWARD.{PHOTOS}.

                      On May 18,Queen Elizabeth officially opened Parliament with a colourful series of events steeped in tradition.The State Opening of Parliament occurs at the begging of each Parliamentary year and is the only regular event to unite the three elements of legislature,the House of Lords,the House of Commons and The Queen together as the Crown in Parliament.Before either House can proceed to public business,The Queen must officially open Parliament by addressing both Houses in The Queen'd Speech.The Speech is not drafted by The Queen,but by the Government,outlining plans and future legislation.The Queen Presented The Queen's Medal for Music 2015 to Oliver Knussen CBE.The prize,established in 2005,is awarded to an outstanding individual or group of musicians who habe a major influence on the musical life of the nation.One of the most distinquished composer-conductors in the world today,Mr Knussen was awarded the Medal for Music last year and received his medal during an audience at Buckingham Palace yesterday morning.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
