 Vanity Fair cuts ties with Olivia Nuzzi amid Robert F. Kennedy Jr. controversy  Vanity Fair is ending its relationship with West Coast editor Olivia Nuzzi amid controversy over her past involvement with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. while she was a Washington correspondent for New York magazine. A statement Friday from both Nuzzi and the publication said they “have mutually agreed, in the best interest of the magazine, to let her contract expire at the end of the year.” Nuzzi had joined Vanity Fair as West Coast editor in September. Nuzzi, 32, gained prominence at New York magazine for her political profiles until 2024, when it was revealed she had a personal relationship with Kennedy, then a presidential candidate and now head of the Department of Health and Human Services. She was fired from New York magazine for failing to disclose the relationship.
