A WEDDING IN KURNOOL,ANDHRA PRADESH,TOOK A RRAGIC TURN WHEN A YOUNG MAN COLLAPSED ON STAGE AND DIED OF A CARDIAC ARREST.(PHOTO).

A wedding in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, took a tragic turn when a young man collapsed on stage and died of a cardiac arrest.

The man, identified as Vamsi, was attending his friend’s wedding in Penumada village. While greeting the bride and groom and handing over a gift, Vamsi suddenly lost his balance and leaned to the left. Guests nearby rushed to catch him before he fell.

Vamsi, who worked with Amazon in Bengaluru, was immediately taken to the Dhone City Government Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death due to a cardiac arrest. The incident, captured on video, showed the groom unwrapping the gift as Vamsi collapsed in front of the guests. His sudden passing shocked everyone at the wedding.

Medical experts have raised concerns about the rising number of cardiac arrests among young people in unexpected places, such as gyms or public events. Dr. Ravi Gupta, a consultant cardiologist in Mumbai, cited factors like diabetes, stress, air pollution, sedentary lifestyles, heavy workouts, and the use of steroids as major contributors. He also mentioned that Indians are genetically predisposed to heart problems, and adopting Western lifestyles has further increased the risk.

This incident is part of a worrying trend, as similar cases have been reported recently. In Tamil Nadu, a 49-year-old school teacher, Antony Gerald, collapsed and died of a cardiac arrest while teaching fourth-grade students. Such cases highlight the need for increased awareness about heart health, especially among the younger population.
