Terry Crews’ Wife Rebecca Reveals Parkinson’s Battle 11 Years After Diagnosis: ‘Seeing Improvement’ Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have opened up about a deeply personal health journey that the family has been quietly navigating for more than a decade. During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot. SENATE UPHOLDS NATASHA AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN'S SUSPENSION, DISMISSES REVERSAL CALLS. (PHOTO).

The Nigerian Senate has reaffirmed its decision to suspend Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, for six months. Senate spokesman Yemi Adaramodu emphasized that the legislative body will adhere strictly to its rules, dismissing any pressure to reinstate Akpoti-Uduaghan.

According to Adaramodu, the Senate is focused on working on tax reform bills, preparing for the constitution review, and reflecting the feelings of Nigerians on the Electoral Act before the 2027 elections. Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro also stated that there is no pressure to reverse the suspension, adding that sometimes it is wise to allow time to heal wounds.

Akpoti-Uduaghan's suspension followed a heated exchange with Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary, after the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions found her guilty of breaching the Senate Standing Orders.

Meanwhile, Akpabio has contested the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court in Abuja to hear Akpoti-Uduaghan's suit challenging her suspension. The court has adjourned the case until March 25, 2025, directing all parties to file necessary responses before the next hearing.

In a related development, the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Professionals in Akwa Ibom State has condemned former Senate President Bukola Saraki for his comments on the Natasha-Akpabio dispute, accusing him of attempting to interfere in the Senate's internal matters.

The Senate is set to resume plenary on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
