 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. George Clooney mourns sister Ada Zeidler’s passing

George Clooney’s sister, Adelia “Ada” Zeidler, passed away from cancer on Friday at the age of 65.

According to her obituary, Zeidler died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. Clooney paid tribute to his sister, saying, “My sister, Ada, was my hero. She faced down cancer with courage and humor. I’ve never met anyone so brave. Amal and I will miss her terribly.”

Zeidler spent many years as an elementary art teacher at Augusta Independent School in Kentucky. She was also active in her community, leading a local book club, participating in the Augusta Art Guild, and serving as grand marshal of Augusta’s Annual White Christmas Parade.

She is survived by her parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, brother George Clooney, her husband Kenny, children Nick Zeidler and Allison Zeidler Herolaga, and other family members.
