 Anambra@35: Nonye Soludo Celebrates State’s Resilience, Greatness By MaryAnn Chukwuma Mrs. Nonye Soludo, wife of the Anambra Governor, has congratulated Ndi Anambra on the 35th anniversary of the creation of the state, describing the milestone as a celebration of resilience, greatness and hope. Mrs Soludo, in a goodwill message issued to commemorate the anniversary, reflected on Anambra’s 35 year journey and the contributions of its people to the state’s growth and development. She described Anambra as a land of promise and possibilities, saying the state had continued to be defined by enterprise, courage, resilience, culture and an unwavering belief in what could be achieved. According to her, the strength of Anambra lies in its communities and the ingenuity of its people, whose determination, creativity and resilience have contributed significantly to the state’s progress. She said the anniversary should also provide an opportunity to renew the collective commitment to building ...

QUEEN ELIZABETH OFFICIALLY OPENED THE NEW BURLINGTON GARDENS BUILDING AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS+MARK THE ACADEMY'S 250TH ANNIVERSARY.{PHOTOS}.

    Yesterday, The Queen visited the Royal Academy of Arts to officially open the new Burlington Gardens building and mark the Academy's 250th anniversary.The Royal Academy of Arts was founded in 1768 by King George III as a place to promote the appreciation and practise of the visual arts and architecture through exhibitions, education and debate. To this day, The Queen continues as the Academy's 'Patron, Protector and Supporter'.The Queen views the Royal Academy of Arts latest exhibition 'Charles I: King and Collector' - many items have been lent by the Royal Collection Trust.Her Majesty meets Sir David Chipperfield RA who designed the new Royal Academy Burlington Gardens Building.The Queen unveiled the first painting to be displayed in the new building - a self-portrait by Sir Joshua Reynolds, the first President of the Royal Academy.
The Queen is shown some George III paperwork, including the 'Instrument of Foundation', which was signed by The King on 10 December 1768.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one. According to Dr Chukwuma during the presentation of the car, he recalled on how Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe all the way from Kano blocked him at the front of his house early in the morning and told him he has a message for him.  Mr Osakwe went on to narrate a dream he had about him, how he saw in the said dream his vehicle manufacturing company known as CAP PLC.
