Man Seeks Justice After Alleged Assault Following Dismissal By Turkish Boss Over Salary Dispute In Kaduna

Mr Emmanuel Thompson, a former employee of Motech Company, an affiliate of NNPC in Kaduna, has called for justice after alleging that his project manager, a Turkish national, assaulted him when he requested his final salary after being dismissed from the company.

Mr. Emmanuel alleged that during the confrontation, his boss struck him with a helmet, causing an eye injury that has affected his vision.

Following the assault, he stated that the company refused to cover his medical expenses despite his visible condition.

Instead, his boss instructed personnel from the Department of State Services (DSS) to remove him from the premises and detain him.

According to Emmanuel, the DSS personnel gave him 500 Naira upon release and instructed him to remain silent about his detention.

Struggling to afford medical treatment for his eye injury and still awaiting his final salary, Emmanuel has appealed for public support in his fight for justice.

He has since sought assistance from the Eagle Brain Human Rights Organization, which has taken up the case to ensure justice is served.
