A girl's night out ended in unexpected tragedy. A Missouri woman was killed upon impact with a mailbox while hanging her head from the car window. The driver, her friend, was arrested and possibly facing felony charges. 28-year-old Alyssa Vanorsdel and her 25-year-old friend were driving along Highway U near Rogerville, Missouri, when a carefree moment cost a young woman her life. It was 4 a.m. on the morning of August 30th, and Alyssa was driving her SUV westbound on the Christian county highway. The 25-year-old woman had unbuckled her safety belt and was hanging her head and upper body from the passenger window. For reasons unknown at this time, Alyssa reportedly veered slightly to the right and clipped a roadside mailbox. The mailbox made full contact with the head of the 25-year-old woman.
