Dennis Quaid admitted he has been feeling deeply emotional as he watches his children reach major life moments. At a Nashville screening of his documentary Water Wars, the 72‑year‑old actor spoke about dropping his twins, Thomas and Zoe, off at college and celebrating his eldest son Jack’s wedding.
He explained that these experiences stirred memories of when Jack first left home for New York University in 2010, saying the rush of recollections “takes you by surprise.”
Jack Quaid, now 34, has often reflected on his own journey into adulthood. In a past interview, he recalled how growing up with two actor parents Dennis and Meg Ryan felt normal at the time, only later realizing how unusual it was.
Jack began his career with a role in The Hunger Games before finding success on Prime Video’s The Boys, which concluded its fifth season in 2026.
Most recently, Jack married his The Boys costar Claudia Doumit in a private ceremony in Australia. He later shared details of the celebration on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, including a mechanical bull at the reception that became a highlight for guests.
Quaid, reflecting on both Jack’s wedding and his twins’ college send‑off, emphasized how such milestones bring a flood of memories, underscoring the bittersweet joy of watching his children grow into new chapters of their lives.
