BBNaija Season 11: Nomy Breaks Silence, Apologizes to Fans After Shock Disqualification

Disqualified Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, widely known as Nomy, has officially broken her silence. Following her abrupt exit from the 'Show Ya Sef' edition, the fashion entrepreneur expressed deep remorse and overwhelming gratitude for the unexpected wave of love she received from the public.

Nomy's journey on the reality TV show was cut short after she repeatedly ignored directives from Big Brother. Her persistent defiance ultimately led to a swift disqualification, with Big Brother ordering her to pack her bags and exit the house immediately, ending what had been a turbulent run.

An Emotional Apology to Her Fanbase

Speaking during an emotional X Space session on September 8, 2026, Nomy opened up about her post-eviction experience. She tearfully apologized to her supporters, admitting that she felt she had let them down due to the sudden manner of her exit.

According to the fashion designer, she was completely unaware of the massive following and goodwill awaiting her outside the house. She expressed profound appreciation to the dedicated fans who campaigned and stood by her throughout her stay in the house without any prior obligation.

Mixed Reactions Trail Nomy's Statement

While many of her dedicated followers offered words of encouragement, Nomy's emotional address was met with mixed reactions across social media. Some viewers expressed skepticism regarding her claim of not knowing her popularity, pointing out that she had successfully survived multiple tense eviction rounds prior to her disqualification.

Critics argued that her survival of those eviction Sundays should have been a clear indicator of her solid support system. Conversely, her loyal fan base defended her, urging critics to show empathy during what is undoubtedly a challenging transition phase for her.

Who is Nomy?

Before her dramatic exit, Nomy entered the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house as a fashion designer and entrepreneur. The creative mind behind the brand Ambition by Witme, Nomy joined the show to promote her business and compete for the highly coveted ₦160 million grand prize. Although her time in the game was cut short, her strong personality and eye-catching designs have certainly left an indelible mark on this season's audience.
