 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region. The meeting includes key figures such as: - Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede - Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu - Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke - Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass - Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) The summons comes in response to recent deadly assaults by terrorists on military bases in the North East. 2 KILLED AS FUJI MUSICIAN SEFIU ALAO CLASH WITH THUGS.

                                  Policemen providing security for Sefiu Alao,clashed with thugs who attacked the musician for refusing to give them money at Ifo,ogun state.the clash occured during the conferment of 26 person's with Chieftaincy titles on some residents of the town by Baale of Ososun land,Arogunyolonlo.the hoodlums went straight to Alao and demanded to be settled before they can allow him to continue playing.the hoodlums refused to leave and they proved abortive.violence erupted when aides of the Fuji musician tried to dislodge the hoodlums.their were shootings and in the confusion,two persons were hit by stray bullets.one of the,a lady died on the spot while another died in the hospital.
