 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. KIDNAPPED VICTIMS,RESCUED IN IBADAN.

 kidnap-den    According to a national news paper,a kidnappers den has been uncovered in Ibadan where it appears some individuals who were victims of the kidnappers were used for ritual purposes.The abandoned property where the victims were found is at Idi Mangoro area was discovered with about 15 chained people suspected to have been kidnapped.About six guns and several cutlasses were also recovered from the house beside it,which was said to belong to Black Horse plastic factory.The discovery was said to have been made when some people who were looking for their missing family member,an okada rider,stumbled on the building situated in an undeveloped part of the community,and from where they were hearing voices.When they entered the building,they found out that the people tied up were so malnourished,and looking like skeletons.Human bones were also found inside a well in frount of the eight room building said to belong to Ponti Construction company.The building beside it,was learnt to also belong to  Black Horse plastic company.Shoes,bags,cloths and other accessories were found in two containers which stood beside the house while mobile numbers,08140574774,07038651723,with the name Friba and 08061197191 with the name Koko Aram where also written inside wall of the building.Identification card with the names such as Mr Rafiu Alamu,a tanker driver and national identity cards belonging to one Mrs Janet Motunrayo Lemo were also foundat the scene.Some of the inmates were said to have run for their dear lives immediately their chain were loosened,with one of them who claimed to have been an immigration official shouting with glee as he breathed air of freedom and ran away.Police from Sanyo arrived at the scene,and four men who claimed to be security guards were arrested from the building belonging to Black Horse.One of the arrested guards Abideen Akanmu,said he was brought to the building by one Gbadamosi to watch over the house inmates.''Gbadamosi used to bring people who were dirty looking and shaved their heads''.Some of the inmates released have been kidnapped since 2008,2010,2012 etc.
