 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

12 YEAR OLD GIRL,FLOGGED FOR POSTING NUDE PHOTOS ON FACEBOOK.

          There is a video going round the internet showing a Caribbean mother of four Helen Bartlett whipping her daughter for posing semi nude pictures on facebook.They are from Trinidad and Tobago.The six minute clip,which depicts Miss Bartlett a single mother raining blows on the 12 years girl,who cried out in pain from the belt being used on her.Viewers claimed what the mother is doing to her daughter is child abuse {Not in Nigeria}.Mrs Helen Bartlett who has three girls and one boy was asked if she regretted her actions,she said ''I stood by my mode of discipline but am sorry that the video intended to shame her 12 year old has gained notoriety''.She said since her father a police officer left them,the girl has been unmanageable.She has exhausted all avenues trying to keep her daughter on the straight and narrow,including seeking counselling,and their father wants nothing to do with her.More photos below.                                                  No alternative: Ms Bartlett later explained that her daughter has been acting acting since pre-school, and that she has exhausted all avenues trying to set her on the right pathDefiant: The single mother said she is prepared to go to jail for meting out corporal punishment to her wayward daughterExtreme measures: The mother stated that she decided to teach her daughter a lesson so that one day she wouldn't come home pregnant or end up deadThe six-minute clip shows the mother whipping the girl with a beltThe teen whimpers and cowers in fearPublic shaming: Helen Bartlett (right), a mother of four from Trinidad and Tobago, shared a video online showing her beating her 12-year-old daughter for inappropriate behaviorDiscipline or abuse: The clip has gone viral on social media and sparked a public debate about corporal punishment

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
