 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. BUHARI VISITED TODAY,THE SURVIVING VICTIMS OF FRIDAY BOMB BLAST IN ABUJA.{PHOTOS}.

                         Today sunday,President of Nigeria Muhammmadu Buhari visit the survivng victims of friday bomb blast in Abuja ''Nyanya and Kuje''.He visited the victims where they were receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre of the National Hospital where he wished them speed recovery,promosed them that the Federal Government will take full responsibility for settling their medical bills.He also directed his Chief of Staff Mallam Abba Kyari to settle the N268,790.00 medical bill of a young girl in the Paediatric ward of the hospital.The girl's mother Deborah Stephen had broken into tears on seeing President Buhari.She told him that her daughter had been shot by armed robbers who raided their home and that the family could not afford the medical bills.The president who was accompanied by his personal aides and Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state,visited the intensive care unit,the paediatric unit and general wards of the National Hospital.More photos below.
