 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. ARMED ROBBERS STORMED A COMMERCIAL BANK IN AGBARA OGUN STATE AND KILLED MANY PEOPLE TODAY.

              Today thursday around 8:am,armed robbers stormed a commercial in Agbara,Ogunstate.It was learnt that First bank,Zenith bank,Guarantee Trust bank,Union bank and First City Monument bank,as well as United Bank of Africa {UBA} are located in the area.Pressmen said the armed robbers left the peaceful estate in a pool of peoples blood,while employees of companies such as Nestle food,Beta Glass,Reckitt Benckiser and Lotus plastic scampered to safety.A source said ''They arrived the area at about 8:30 am and started operating in some of the popular banks.They were seriously robbing and killing people.They were just shooting any how.So many people on the ground bleeding''.One more photo below.
