 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. FIFA BANS 2 SPANISH CLUBS TODAY,''REAL MADRID & ATLETICA DE MADRID''.

                  Today thursday,FIFA banned  two Spanish clubs,Atletica de Madrid and Real Madrid for international transfer of minors and signing players in the next two transfer window,meaning for breaching rules relating to signing players under the age of 18.FIFA said today thursday that its Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned the two Spanish clubs.Though the Spanish clubs can still sign players in the current tranfer window,they will be banned from making additions to their squads until after the 2016-17 season.''Real and Atletico were found to have violated several provisions concerning the international transfer and first registration of minor players as well as other relevant provisions with regard to the registration and participation of certain players in competitions.Both clubs are to serve a transfer ban that prevents them from registering any players at national and international level for the next two complete and consecutive registration periods for braching articles 5,9,19 and 19b as well as annexes 2 and 3 of the Regulations on the status and Transfer of Players {the regulations}.Atletco de Madrid and Real Madrid have been fined CHF 900,000 and CHF 360,000 respectively,while both clubs have been issued with a reprimand and given 90 days in which to regularise the situation of all minor players concerned''.One more photo below.
