 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. THE NIGERIAN ARMY,ARRESTED A SUSPECTED MASTERMIND OF THE CHIBOK GIRLS ABDUCTION.

                     Today saturday,the Nigerian Army said that it had put in place machinery to establish the true identity of a suspected leader of the Boko Haram sect,Jarasu Shira,who was apprehended last week in Borno and his believed to be the brain behind the abduction of the Chibok school girls.Major General Lucky Irabor,the Deputy Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole,disclosed this in an interview with NAN in Maiduguri.Irabor said that knowing the true identity of the suspect was to avoid past mistakes where individuals were arrested based on mistaken identities.''We have in our custody a good number of suspected terrorists that were apprehended as a result of our routine operations.One of those suspects is believed to be on the list of our 100 most wanted terrorists leaders''.However the army must ascertain the true identity of the suspect before final confirmation to the media.''There are other things we need to do to ensure that is he who we said he is.Although the facial attributes confirmed he is the one,but it is not just by looks alone.We have had cases where we have mistaken identity only to come up to say we are sorry,that is what we are trying to avoid this time''.Jafaru Shira is believed to be the sect leader around Damboa-Chibok Ashira axis of Borno State before he was apprehended.He is believed to be one of the masterminds of the abduction of Chibok girls on April 14,2014.One more photo below.
