 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.                       According to sources,the Buhari Media Support Group {BMSG} has said that the anti corruption war waged by President Muhammadu Buhari is yielding success which has led to the delisting of the country from the list of corrupt countries as compiled by Transparency International {IT}.In a press statement signed by the group's national coordinator,Muhammad Labbo and the secretary,Cassidy Madueke yesterday wednesday in Abuja,the group said that the campaign is gradually chsnging the image of the country to one where corrupt acts are no longer welcomed.The group added that in the latest ranking of corrupt countries in the world over by TI,the name of Nigeria is conspiciously missing.According to the BMSG,the anti-corruption war of the president,despite the cynicism of partakers in the ruinous looting of the country,is having the desired impact,nationally and internationally and has unmasked the true colour of many prominent persons and wealthy individuals in Nigeria.Well i thank God for this good new.One more photo below.
