 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare . A KENYA COURT SAID IT IS UNLAWFUL TO JAIL 2 MEN,WHO REFUSED TO TAKE THEIR TB MEDICATION.

                 A Keenya court has ruled that the jailing of two men who refused to take their TB medications was unlawful.The two men identified as Daniel Ng'etich and Patrick Kipngetich were sent to prison in 2010 for eight months or until the satisfactory completion of their TB treatment after originally failing to stick to their drug regime.In the precedent setting judgement,judge Mumbi Ngugi said both safeguarding the public from infection and upholding the patient's rights was a tricky balancing act.She added that crowded prisons were the worst places to try and isolate people with infection diseases.
