 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. SUPERMODEL ''IMAN'',LOST HER MOTHER YESTERDAY,2 MONTHS AFTER THE DEATH OF HER HUSBAND.

               Somali born Supermodel Iman Abdulmajid,lost her mother Mariam to the cold hands of death yesterday thursday.Iman captioned these picture she took with her parents on her wedding in Tuscany on 24 April 1992, ''Saddened by death of my mom Maryan Baadi.May Allah grant her the highest jennah.I beg that you respect my family's privacy during our time of grief #ripmaryanbaadi''.Her mother was an activist,so was her father.Her parent's came from a generation of young Somalis who were actively involved in getting independence for Somalia in 1960.Iman's mother died two months after the death of her musician husband David Bowie.She was married to her late husband 24 years ago,and they have a 15 year old named Alexandra Zahra,known as Lexi.May her mother's soul rest in peace,amen.More photos below.
