Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. According to the Nigeria Police Complaint Response Unit who said that what occurred was completely different from as reported,and here is their findings below.FACTS OF THE CASE;On the 16.03.2016 at about 12:00pm Mrs AAA who is aa teacher in one of the schools in Akute reported at Ajuwon Police Station,Akute Ogun State that one Mrs BBB brought her 9 year old son BBC who is one of Mrs AAA's pupils to the school on same day and that the said Mrs BBB went straight to the class of Mrs AAA'S pupils to the school on same day and that the said Mrs BBB went straight to the class of Mrs AAA's 1 year old son AAB where Mrs BBB instructed her own son BBC to beat AAB as a retaliation to Mrs AAA's alleged beating of BBC the previous day.That Mrs Mrs BBB aided her 9 year old son BBC.Case was recorded and referred to Juvenile and Women Centre {JWC} Ajuwon Division for investigation.That later in the day,AAC who is the father to AAB and also a policeman upon hearing the incident and that Mrs BBB was yet to be questioned by the police proceeded to an address where BBA was found unaccompanied and brought him to the police station where Mrs BBB later presented herself.FINDINGS:Investigation carried out reveals facts as stated above which are corroborated by independent witnesses.ACCTIONS:Mrs BBB would be charged to court for assault on AAB and conduct likely to cause breach of the peace in that she took her son to disrupt schooling activities while departmental disciplinary action is being initiated against AAC.NOTE:The identities of the children and their parents are withheld in line with global practice of not disclosing such identities in cases of this nature.Then they further said ''Please disregard the story as earlier reported thus by @oluremisonaiya-who said Police detain 8 year old for reporting abusive teacher to his mum,cos teacher's husband is a policeman.People have gone totally bonkers''.One more photo below.
