 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

IS PRESIDENT BUHARI REALLY DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER OF THE EAR AND BRAIN IN LONDON?

                    The news i just received,that is breaking the internet is that President of Nigeria Buhari has cancer of the ear and brain which was diagnosed in London during his 10 days vacation.A source is claiming that President Buhari is admitted at the Royal Hospital,London where the cancer of ear and brain was diagnosed.Buhari arrived in London on Monday June 6,2016 and his spokesperson Femi Asesina announced that ''During the holiday,he will see a E.N.T specialist for a persistent ear infection.The President was examined by hisPersonal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated.Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purel as a precaution''.For now Buhari's cancer story might be a rumor until an official statement is sent out to the press.
