 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. EFCC ARRAIGNS ONE OVER DUD CHEQUE YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

Image may contain: 1 person, standing                                                 The EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Office today, 21st August 21, 2017 arraigned one Jacob Jerome Mona before Justice K.N Kunaza at the State High Court, Bauchi on a three count charge for the offence of Conspiracy, Criminal Breach of Trust and Issuance of dud cheque to the tune of Eight Million Naira.
Jacob who is the Managing Director Tari Oil and Gas Limited sometimes in 2016 recieved a total of 40,000 litres of diesel valued at Eight Million Naira of which he issued a post dated cheque to one Abdullahi Mohammed to present on his behalf. The cheque was returned unpaid due to insufficient funds in Jacob's account and efforts to get him pay the beneficiary proved futile. The case has been adjourned to 29th August, 2017 for commencement of trial.One more photo below.
