 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. An Australian returnee, Stephen Ogho-Oghene Akpata, who had spent 27 years in Australia has been arrested by the Police in Bayelsa State for killing his wife Onyinye,an Employee of Glo Network after making love to her for about an hour.Akpata, who confessed to committing the dastardly act when paraded by the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Amba Asuquo, was arrested in Lagos following his failed attempt to flee to Ghana.The Suspect confessed that he made love to the deceased at about 5am to 6am on the fateful day before killing her following suspicion of infidelity through a message he saw on her phone. He also confessed to stabbing her with a knife on the neck and shoulder.The suspect also revealed that he has served in various detention centers in Australia.More photos below.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
