 Crackdown on Lateness: Obodogha Leads Spot Check at Environment Ministry The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Mr. Tochukwu Obodogha, has launched a surprise inspection of staff attendance, enforcing Governor Chukwuma Soludo's zero-tolerance policy on lateness. Obodogha warned that latecomers will face a disciplinary committee, emphasizing that the glory of civil service must be restored.  He stressed that every worker must be at their duty post by 8am prompt. Addressing staff at Anambra State Erosion, Watershed and Climate Change Agency (ANSEWCCA), he said the era of non-chalancy is over. "Every staff member must be at the table and on time." A surveillance team will monitor workers' attendance, reporting to Obodogha. He urged staff to key into Governor Soludo's vision, noting the governor prioritizes workers' welfare. The crackdown aims to boost productivity and make Anambra State great. One more photo below. 

OGUN STATE GOVT SAYS 'MAPOLY' ALUMNI STAUS IS INTACT.

     The Ogun State Government has disclosed that the status of the Alumni Association of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta is intact in spite of its relocation to Ipokia in Ipokia Local Government Area of the State.
The Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Mrs. Modupe Mujota who made this known while playing host to the Executive members of the Association at her office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said the change in status of the polytechnic to a University of Science and Technology would not have any effect on the activities of the Alumni Association.Mujota stated this against the backdrop of the transition of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology and the relocation of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic formerly in Ojere, Abeokuta to Ipokia.She however said moving the polytechnic to Ipokia would not rob off the Association’s dignity and fame, saying that the new development was borne out of the believe that there should be a balance in the developmental efforts of the present administration across the four divisions of the State.‘’Your Association needs not bother on the transition of MAPOLY to MAUSTECH. What has happened was borne out of the belief that there should be balance in the development of the State. The Governor believes that every senatorial district of the State should have a feel of the mission to rebuild agenda that is currently pervading the State. Hence, the location of the State Polytechnic at Ipokia’’, the Commissioner said.Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Alhaji Sefiu Rasheed said the development was for the benefit of all and sundry, craving for the cooperation of all stakeholders so as to achieve the set objective on the new polytechnic.Earlier in his address, the National President of the Association, Mr. Akeem Ayoade, said that their visit was to obtain first-hand information on the status of the new Polytechnic and to ascertain if its members could further their education in the new University.
