 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region.        The body of Igwe Henry Ekwueme (Eze Ndi Igbo) in China arrived Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos yesterday afternoon.The corpse was received by family, friends and colleagues as it landed at the airport.It was reported that Igwe Henry suffered a stroke and had been in a coma few days before his death in the early hours of Wednesday, March 8th 2017.The businessman and philanthropist hailed from Adazi Nnukwu in Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State and was reportedly building a house before he died.More photos below.
