 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. KANO PILLARS STAR, CHINEDU UDORJI SET TO BE BURIED IN HIS HOMETOWN.{MIXED PHOTOS}.

      Former Enyimba star and Kano pillars captain Chinedu Udoji who died after a road traffic accident is said to be buried in his home town in Anambra.
The footballer who hails from Igbariam in Anambra East died just after his man-of-the-match performance for his team, Kano Pillars, in the match-day 9 of the Nigerian Professional Football League against his former club Enyimba FC.
According to reports, Udoji played full time in the match and was voted man of the match before he was engaged in auto accident on Sunday 18th February 2018.
Before his death, he was one of the most experienced players in the NPFL-good in the air, excellent passing skills, and his man-marking was out of this world.His death is a painful loss to both Anambrans and Nigerians in general. May his soul rest in peace.
