 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. NIGERIAN ARMY ENCOUNTERED BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS IN BORNO {PHOTO},#PRESS RELEASE.

     1.Troops of 242 Battalion deployed in operation LAFIA DOLE in conjunction with troops of operation LAST HOLD on 28 June 2018 while on raid patrol at Mallam Kafari, Goni, Alkari, Burburna , Kantanna villages in Monguno Local Government Area of Borno state encountered Boko Haram terrorists.
2. Three Boko Haram terrorists were neutralized during the encounter.
3. Items recovered include:
a. Two AK 47 rifles.
b. 51 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition.
c. Four Magazines.
d. One 36 Hand grenade
4. However, one soldier was wounded during the operation and is currently receiving medical attention.
5. The general public is hereby reminded once again to always report suspicious activities to the nearest military formation or any security agent for prompt action.
