 Judy Greer was 'so broke' before filming "Wedding Planner" that Matthew McConaughey covered her $20 valet bill Judy Greer, now known as the quintessential rom-com best friend, was still early in her career when she landed her role in The Wedding Planner alongside Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey.  During a recent interview, she recalled a memorable moment from the film’s early days when McConaughey stepped in to help her out of an embarrassing situation.  At the time, Greer had parked at the Roosevelt Hotel for a table read but didn’t have enough money to pay the valet.  Mortified, she was on the pay phone trying to figure out a solution when McConaughey overheard and handed her $20, instantly becoming her hero. DEFECTION: APC HOUSE OF REP MEMBER FROM KATSINA,DUMPS THE PARTY FOR PDP TODAY.

     A member of the House of Representatives, Ibrahim Murtala, representing Musawa/Matazu federal constituency of Katsina State, has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmaker made this known in a letter read on the floor of the House by the speaker, Yakubu Dogara, during plenary on Tuesday.Mr Murtala did not state the reason for his defection.He becomes the first elected official from President Muhammadu Buhari’s home-state of Katsina to dump the ruling party for another party.The APC and PDP have lost a couple of their members in the past few months to other parties. This cannot be unconnected to the fallout of the recently concluded primary elections held across the country.
