 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. EFCC SECURES CONVICTION OF FAKE LOVER-BOY TODAY IN KWARA STATE.{PHOTO}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Ilorin Zonal Office has secured the conviction of Ogundele Adeseye, 24, who was re-arraigned on a one-count amended charge bordering on internet fraud.
He was convicted by Justice Babangana Ashigar of a Federal High Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State, on April 10, 2019 after he pleaded "guilty" to the charge, following a plea bargain agreement.
He was previously arraigned on a five-count charge, which was later amended to one count after plea bargain agreement was reached.
The charge reads: "That you, Ogundele Adeseye, sometime in July 2018 or thereabouts in Ilorin within the jurisdiction of this honourable court by means of fraudulent trick that you are a white Caucasian and interested in having a relationship, obtained the cumulative sum of $500 (Five Hundred Dollars) in form of iTunes gift cards from one Chase Gliglia, an American Citizen whom you met on seeking.com website (sugarbabysite) by chatting with her using the email brysonwillians567@gmail.com and thereby committed an offence contrary and punishable under section 421 of the Criminal code act."
In his plea, Ogundele said: "My lord, I have learnt my lessons, I have realized that crime and criminality is not good, I am pleading with your lordship to temper justice with mercy."
In sentencing him, the trial judge held there was a need to enforce judgement that will serve as a deterrent to would-be internet fraudsters.
"In accordance with plea bargain agreement, I hereby convict the defendant and sentence him to six months imprisonment," he said.
Ogundele, however, busted into tears when he was being led to Mandala Prisons by the prison officials.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
