 NAFDAC Reopens Onitsha Drug Market After Month-Long Closure The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has reopened the Onitsha Head Bridge drug market, popularly known as 'Ogbo Ogwu', after a month-long closure for sanitization and regulatory enforcement. The market was shut down as part of NAFDAC's nationwide clampdown on fake and substandard medicines. To prevent a recurrence of the issues that led to the closure, NAFDAC has implemented strict administrative conditions for reopening. Shop owners are required to complete documentation and clearance procedures before their shops can be unsealed. QUEEN ELIZABETH AWARDED JAZZ MUSICIAN 'GARY GROSBY OBE' WITH 'THE QUEEN'S MEDAL FOR MUSIC' TODAY AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE.{PHOTOS}.

     The Queen's Medal for Music has been awarded to jazz musician Gary Crosby OBE. Today The Queen presented the award to Mr. Crosby at Buckingham Palace.
Gary Crosby OBE is a British jazz double bassist, composer, and co-founder and Artistic Director of Tomorrow's Warriors a jazz education group which nurtures and develops young musicians.
The Queen's Medal for Music, established in 2005, is presented annually to an outstanding individual or group of musicians who have had a major influence on the musical life of the nation.
On receiving the award, Mr Crosby said:
ā€œIā€™m honoured to receive The Queenā€™s Medal for Music, and humbled to join such a distinguished group of Medal recipients. As a founder of Tomorrowā€™s Warriors, Iā€™m also delighted to be recognised for my work as an educator and mentor to the many young jazz musicians weā€™ve worked with over the years.ā€.One more photo below.
