  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”.       Chinwendu Goes To School

This is no ‘Eze Goes To School’ tale but one of former child bride with happy ending.
This evening, Tuesday, 8th September, 2019, Miss Chinwendu, a former Child bride whose story went viral few months ago resumed school, through the benevolence of Anambra State Commissioner For Women and Children affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue.
The Honorable Commissioner made sure that Chinwendu, soon after walking away from the marriage, was rehabilitated, trained in tailoring and empowered with other 100 Ndi Anambra by Industrial Training Fund, ITF.
Concluding the process of healing and rehabilitation, Chinwendu was today, in an emotional scene, accompanied by the Honorable Commissioner, her elderly father and some staff of the ministry of women and children affairs to the school where she will restart her education and the journey to put her life back on track.
