 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND LAUNCHED A NEW MENTAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN.{PHOTOS}.

      Yesterday,A new mental health campaign has been launched to help people who are living with mental health problems.
Public Health England, in partnership with the NHS, have launched #EveryMindMatters to help people take simple steps to look after their mental health, improve their mental wellbeing and support others.
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have supported this campaign by helping to voice this special film, made to raise awareness of the campaign.
As part of the campaign the “One You” website and a series of apps have been launched as a platform to help people create a personalised action plan and a set of self care actions to deal with stress, improve sleep and feel in control.One more photo below.
