  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. EFCC NABS A WONDER BANK MANAGER IN SOKOTO.{PHOTO}.

     The EFCC, Sokoto Zonal Office, has arrested one Amina Kabo (a.k.a Firdausi Kabo) a wonder Bank Manager and promoter of Olive Micro Finance Bank, located at No. 26 Dubabe Plaza. She was arrested for alleged offences of Conspiracy, Forgery and Obtaining Money by False Pretence to the tune of N897, 500 (Eight Hundred and Ninety Seven Thousand, five hundred Naira). The Zonal Head, Abdullahi Lawal, while parading the suspect at a press briefing in Sokoto on Friday, December 6, 2019, described the arrest as “a big success”.
