OVER 25 MILLION PHONES STOLEN IN ONE YEAR- FG. (PHOTO).

 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police. ANAMBRA POLICE REUNITES FOUND CHILD TO HIS BIOLOGICAL MOTHER.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      It would be recalled that yesrterday 31/3/2020 the Command issued a Public Announcement that a boy of about 4 years old later identified as Ebubechukwu Umeze was found wandering along Amawbia roundabout and requested the public to dessiminate the massage through their medium in order to trace the biological parents or close relatives of the child.
Fortunately,yesterday the mother of the missing boy one Mrs Okpalanozie Anastesia 'f' of Achilles Villa Oby Okoli Avenue Awka reported at CPS Awka and identified her Son.
Meanwhile,the boy was handed over to his mother after it was proved beyond reasonable doubt that she was the real biological mother of the Child.
Consequently,the Commissioner of Police *CP John B.Abang,fdc* enjoined parents to always monitor their kids in order to avert cases of missing children in the State.

On the 28/3/2020 at about 9:30pm,a boy of about 4 years old was found wandering along Amawbia roundabout Awka and since then all efforts to locate his parents proved abortive.The boy simply gave his name as Ebube Meze and nothing more.
2.Inview of the foregoing,you are kindly requested to dessiminate this massage through your medium to enable the biological parents or close relatives of the child identify him.
3. Anyone with useful information about the found child should report at the Central Police Station Awka or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command headquarters Awka through GSM no 08060970639, please.
