 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A MAN ARRESTED IN OGUN FOR STEALING HIS CUSTOMER'S PANT.{PHOTO}.

     Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 22-year-old man, Dele Ope, for allegedly stealing his customer’s pant.
The woman (name withheld) had reported Ope, a vulcanizer to the Police at Warewa Division, over her missing item.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the woman had invited the suspect to fix one of her car tyres which got deflated.
The woman was said to have discovered that her pant spread on a line within her compound, had gone missing.She was reported to have gone after the artisan who was nowhere to be found, as at the time she got to her shop.When the matter was reported at the Warewa Division, the DPO, Folake Afeniforo, detailed detectives to arrest the suspect, while a search was conducted in his house and the pant was found.The suspect upon interrogation confessed to the crime, saying he had the intention of taking the pant to a herbalist for money ritual.
